It’s time to eat a lot of food and hang out with family and friends. No matter what you do have fun and enjoy the day! My husband is in the kitchen mashing up some potatoes as I sit in front of my computer writing this blog post. We’re getting ready to go to our first Thanksgiving get-together for today and it’s going to be a feast! So far I know that there will be lamb, smoked turkey leg, Honeybaked ham, mashed potatoes, pumpkin pie, and jumbo shrimp. I’m sue there will be other stuff too! As we all get together with our family and friends I hope everyone eats a ton of food and has a great time.
Not only am I going to stuff myself silly today, but I’ll remember all the things I am thankful for.
My husband – Yep he’s working away in the kitchen as I sit here. He’s the love of my life! He cooks, cleans, listens, and can get stuff off the tall shelves for me.
My family and friends – Family is very important to me and good friends are hard to find. When you do find them it’s important to keep up the relationship. Family is much more forgiving but they’ll always bring up your most embarassing moments at any opportune time! Oh family!
My health – it could be better but I only really get minor colds and allergies.Living in California – with sunny weather almost year round I’m so spoiled!
What are the things you’re thankful for today? Also…how much did you end up eating?
