Tackling_Food_Waste_CrisisThis infographic really says it all! I know that sometimes I throw out old food I didn’t use in time, but 40%! That seems like quite a lot of money to just waste!

The statistics do indeed speak for themselves. Its a big shame for humanity that we are wasting a whooping 40% of the food we produce and yet people are dying of hunger!
    Simply appalling.
More people should adopt the solutions proffered, I really don’t see anything wrong with “ugly food” as long as it packs the same nutrients as perfectly shaped food its good to eat. Getting creative in the kitchen and planning meals does also help.
    Wonderful infographic.

Farmer’s markets are so fun because you get to browse ugly food! In the end it all looks the same once you chop it all up and cook it anyway. Hopefully we all get better at not wasting our money by throwing out so much food!
